I recently visited CEN Archery & coffee – tea, which as the names suggests is a cafe that doubles up as an archery club. The blend of coffee and archery was far too appealing to turn down. Here are my experiences and what you can expect during your visit.

Pricing
Prices are as follows and include equipment and coaching from the experienced staff members. I chose the 1 hour option, which was more than enough for me.
Although it’s not mandatory, you are somewhat expected to purchase a drink during your visit.
The facility and equipment
As you enter the bar you will be hit with the strong Japanese theme and style, with cherry blossom trees and Japanese lanterns decorated throughout. The bar is visually appealing and would definitely be considered ‘Instagramable’.
There are 20 archery lanes available, which all come with there own bow and arrows. In addition, there is a bar which stocks a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
You will be provided with what I can only assume are pretty new bows and arrows, these come in a variety of sizes and weights, so make sure to try out a couple until you find the one that suits you best.
The experience
This was the first time that I had tried out archery, so coming in as a complete novice I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. However, it didn’t take too long to get the hang of shooting the bow. However, aiming in another story entirely. The staff are incredibly helpful and are readily available to first show you how to shoot and then will give you plenty of advice on how to improve your aim.
Final thoughts
If you’re looking for a fun activity in Da Nang, maybe a date or hanging with friends CEN Archery & Coffee – Tea is an excellent choice. The club offers a great experience for complete beginners and the relaxed vibe makes it a perfect place to visit and try out archery.
